Throughout the presentation I shared engaging scholarly research, my experiences, and the practical application of children leading conference workshops, professional development, and a university course.

Reframing the Achievement Gap Through the Eyes of an Artist | Keynote at EdCamp Yosemite

Rather than looking at rigid boundaries as a problem, we can view these constraints as a frame. In fact, it is the boundaries of the canvas that make the artwork possible. The slidedeck included examples such as high school students rolling out technology to a fifth grade classroom via Facetime, children fixing iPads, and students publishing original VR content.
